Founded in 2019 by Jacqueline Flores and Louis Koorndyk, The Greater Las Vegas Short-Term Rental Association (GLVSTRA) is a grass roots nonprofit organization advocating on behalf of Nevada private property owners and travelers to our State.
Our services for our industry members include advocacy, education, training, public relations and government affairs. Together with our members, GLVSTRA seeks to partner and work with organizations, businesses, non-profits, and other groups within the travel industry.
GLVSTRA invests in the community through our involvement and charity events.
GLVSTRA represents individual private owners and travelers in front of legislators to advocate for favorable and fair regulations that preserve short-term rentals for the benefit of our local communities and travelers visiting our state.
We intend to become a leader in the preservation of private property owners' rights and defend consumer access to affordable lodging.
We believe everyone can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
The Greater Las Vegas STR Association (GLVSTRA) mission is to protect the private property rights of short-term rental owners and to educate the public on all the benefits STR's have to offer.
To bring together all short-term rental hosts, operators, homeowners, neighbors, local business owners, and STR allies for a prosperous future in the sharing economy that allows us all to thrive and invest in our community.
