Boulder City
Code Enforcement

Homeowners should always pay attention and take immediate action when receiving a notice from the County.  Many of these notices come with deadlines you must follow to protect your rights.

Follow the instructions of your notice carefully.  We have created a step-by-step guide for you to be able to navigate the process of requesting records, appealing fines, and taking other necessary action.

We also offer personal assistance, for an additional fee, where we review your notice, walk you through every step of the way, including discussing the possibility of legal recourse. The Association stands ready to support you in challenging these fines and defending your rights as a homeowner.

COMING SOON!

Boulder City will not start enforcement until May 1, 2024.

On March 26, 2024, the City Council voted to adopt changes to city code to begin enforcement against STRs (Short-Term Rentals).  These changes included fines for renting for less than 30 days.  You may watch the City Council meeting HERE.

In the meantime, we are working behind the scenes to address this matter and will create a process to guide STR owners and operators on how to handle any issues related to these STR fines.  We are also looking at other options to assist the Boulder City STR Community.

We urge all STR owners in Boulder City to join our Association and join the fight!
