About the Event
The City of Las Vegas has released its proposed STR (short-term rental) ordinance and it is scheduled to vote on the changes on August 17th, 2022.
Learn about the proposed changes, how it will affect you, and what you can do to help make the proposed rules better.
As of right now, the City is planning on keeping its ban on whole-home rentals and only allow home-share. However, not everyone will qualify for a license as some of the requirements will include: 1. house must be 3-bedrooms or less, and 2. the property owner must live on-site and may only be away from the property for work or to run errands, among others requirements.
There’s a very short-window to come together to put pressure on public officials to change these rules.
